Poodles
Poodles come in three sizes - Standard, Miniature, and Toy.Poodle owners often praise their dogs for their uncanny ability to empathize with their owner's emotions. They are masters of communication and seem to be able to immediately tell when you are happy or sad, and act accordingly. Perhaps this is how Poodles have found their way into the hearts of some of history's most notable figures, including Beethoven, Chopin, and Winston Churchill. Their intuition and upbeat attitudes also set them apart as one of the best choices for therapy dogs. While they have huge, loyal hearts, their bodies can be quite tiny. Miniature and Toy Poodles stand an average of only 10 to 15 inches from paw to the highest point of the shoulder. Standard Poodles are much larger, usually around 25 inches. Their coats also have specific needs and require extensive maintenance, which can be expensive to keep up.
Poodles can make a great addition to a person's life, and they will flourish in just about any environment. They are intelligent, loyal, sensitive animals that have a lot of love to give.
