What Your Labrador Retriever Dog Says About Your Personality

June 7, 2012 by Nylabone Products  |  What Your Dog Says About You  |  Comments (2)  |

Did you know that your choice of canine can say a lot about you? Your Inner Dog provides a humorous, lighthearted look at how pet parents compare to their dogs. Best traits, career, leisure, fashion musts, food faves, significant others, and pet peeves are just some of the things your dog’s breed can reveal about you. Labrador Retriever owners, we want to know: Does this breed personality and character profile match your own?

Personality and Character

No wonder you’re popular! You are interested in serving others. You are friendly without being effusive, hardworking with plenty of time to play, and energetic without losing your essential calm. You can be competitive but in such a subtle way that others may not even be aware of it. You are diplomatic, hard-working, and dependable. You are always cheerful, even during tense times—one reason that people like having you around. You love children of all ages; in fact, you love everybody. Labrador people are the opposite of loners, and when deprived of good company for even a brief period, you may go into a “decline.” Labrador owners also traditionally give the best parties on the block. You are very intelligent and are a lifelong learner— consider going back to college or working on that advanced degree! Labrador people are also known for their patriotism, adaptability, and incredible charm.
