Local Dogs Help Oakland Athletics Bring Home Guinness World Record!

July 25, 2012 by Nylabone Products  |  Dog News  |  Comments (2)  |

On July 19, 2012, Nylabone, AvoDerm, and Adams co-sponsored the best “Dog Day at the Park” yet! An unprecedented 718 dogs in attendance set a new Guinness World Record for the most dogs at a sports game. In addition, the Oakland A’s raised $15,000 as a donation to Dogs4Diabetics. A crowd filled with dogs was truly a sight to behold, but best of all, the event helped a good cause!

What kinds of activities were lined up for these pups, you might ask? After registration, there was a Pre-Game  Pup Rally, where dogs were invited to take a victory lap around the warning track at the ballpark. Then the pups paraded on the field for all to adore. These lucky dogs later went home with goodie bags packed with cool stuff from Nylabone, AvoDerm, and Adams. After such an exciting night, we’re guessing that all of the pups who came out got a good night’s sleep! For photos from the event, see below or share your own photos with us on Facebook and Twitter!
